What Is Community?
Discovery Church recognizes the heart of a relationship with Christ as a relationship also with a group of Christ-followers, and this is how we define true, authentic community. As a group, we have been changed by the grace of Christ through faith in Him; and, now, we are under a new community or government. Although we are by no means perfect, we try to live our lives as Jesus would; with love, respect and justice being honored above all things. The desire of Discovery Church is to be a community that lives consistently under Christ, so full of grace, that our community itself becomes a refuge from a hostile world.
