Course Description

This is a 25+ hour certification course designed to train the Ohio chiropractic assistant.

Upon completion the student will receive a certificate suitable for framing from a CCE approved Chiropractic College Postgraduate Department. The class has several modules that are all included for the $279 tuition price.

Evaluation

The learner’s time spent studying course materials is tracked electronically.  A formal multiple-choice examination is administered at the termination of the course materials for those seeking certification (where appropriate). Additional practical skills competency is also required.

  • Understand the different forms of physiotherapy.
  • Discuss the definition, principles, goals, and objectives of physiotherapy
  • Understand how to develop great record keeping skills.
  • Remember basic spinal anatomy, musculoskeletal and nervous systems.
  • Apply vital signs procedures.
  • Develop skills associated with providing rehabilitation prescriptions to patients.
  • Understand the general duties of a chiropractic assistant.
  • Analyze the basic components of a therapeutic exercise program and their interrelationship.
