Tuition: $89
Hours: 5

Course Description
Heart Rate Variability (HRV) is arguably the most important biometric and until recently it was not accessible outside of hospitals or without the use very expensive equipment. Thanks to advances in technology we can now easily and affordably use HRV to help guide patient care, open the door to deeper patient insights & connections and help our patients take self-responsibility and care outcomes to the next level.
In this five (5) hour course, participants can expect to learn the basics of Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and go a bit further. We will cover everything from the basics of what HRV is and some of the various associated metrics. We will see the science behind HRV and more. Participants will see how to administer HRV readings, learn general interpretation of HRV, and learn general application of HRV in clinical practice. Participants will leave this course with a healthy understanding of HRV and how it may benefit their patients and their practice.
This class consists mainly of videos. The videos are automated and narrated PowerPoint presentations.
Evaluation
The content of this course is provided through videos and minimal reading material in which the learner’s participation (time) is actively tracked and logged. A minimum of five hours is required. There will be at least three questions for every hour of the class. The learner must receive a score of 80% of the total possible points and log at least five hours to receive credit for the course. Learners not achieving the pass rate will be directed to additional study by the instructor and allowed to re-take the examination.
No textbooks required. Computer and Internet service required for completion of this course. Funding sources and potential conflicts of interest statement: No funds were received, underwritten or subsidized by any vendors of any goods including supplies or services for this course.
