Melanie Henning

Dr. Melanie Henning has over 20 years’ experience in health and wellness as a research-scientist, independent practitioner and business executive. Melanie spent seven years in cancer and cardiovascular clinical research at UCLA Medical Center in Los Angeles, California and at The Riordan Clinics in Wichita, Kansas and Phoenix, Arizona. Melanie earned her Bachelor’s degree from Pepperdine University in Biology. She earned her Master of Science degree in Clinical Nutrition from Rosalind Franklin University, Chicago School of Medicine and Science. Melanie also received her Doctorate in Sports and Performance Psychology from The University of the Rockies. Melanie’s successes in business can be attributed to her clinical and science background and the complexities in direct patient care and preventive health and wellness. For the past 13 years, Melanie has held executive leadership positions with health-science and wellness companies. Melanie is currently a partner at the Center for Sports Psychology. She counsels with individuals and teams on strength-based leadership, sport performance, nutrition, and wellness. Melanie lives in Colorado with her husband and three children. When Melanie is not working, she enjoys trying to keep up with her active children and spending time as a family.
