Course Description
This 4-hour course introduces the fundamentals and practical applications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in modern chiropractic practice. Participants will explore how to ethically and effectively use AI-powered tools to streamline clinical documentation, enhance patient education and communication, and improve overall workflow efficiency. Delivered through hands-on demonstrations and downloadable resources, this course is ideal for clinicians looking to work smarter and remain competitive in an evolving healthcare environment.
Evaluation
The content of this course is provided through online reading material and short demonstration videos in which the learner’s participation (time) is actively tracked and logged. A minimum of four hours is required. There will be at least three questions for every hour of the class. The learner must receive a score of 80% of the total possible points and log at least two hours to receive credit for the course. Learners not achieving the pass rate will be directed to additional study by the instructor and allowed to re-take the examination.

- Risks, limitations, and legal-ethical considerations in clinical use
Hour 2: Documentation and Charting Tools
- Using AI to improve SOAP notes and clinical summaries
- Best practices for prompt crafting in EHR contexts
- Generating referral letters, patient summaries, and treatment plans
- Case demonstrations and downloadable templates
Hour 3: Patient Communication and Education with AI
- Drafting clear, compassionate patient emails and messages
- Creating handouts, FAQs, and in-office signage with AI
- Multilingual translation tools for patient-facing communication
- Legal considerations when using AI-generated educational materials
