Dr. William Moreau, DC, DACBSP, FACSM, brings over 40 years of clinical expertise in evidence-guided chiropractic sports medicine to his distinguished career. Transitioning from a successful private practice, Dr. Moreau assumed the role of Director of Clinics at the United States Olympic Committee (USOC) in 2009, where he led initiatives for ten years to elevate medical care standards for athletes.

In recognition of his exceptional leadership and contributions, Dr. Moreau was appointed Vice President of Sports Medicine at the USOC in 2017. In this capacity, he oversaw all sports medicine-related activities, including medical services at the Olympic/Paralympic Games and the management of USOC Clinics. Notably, Dr. Moreau spearheaded the establishment of the U.S. Coalition for the Prevention of Illness and Injury in Sport, recognized as one of only eleven IOC International Centers of Research Excellence.

Dr. Moreau's commitment to excellence in sports medicine extended to his pivotal roles as Team USA's Medical Director at the London 2012 Olympic Games and the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games. He made history as the sole Doctor of Chiropractic to serve as an Olympic National Organizing Committee Chief Medical Officer for Team USA at the 2016 Rio Summer Games and the 2018 Winter Games in South Korea. In these positions, he directed comprehensive medical service lines for Team USA athletes, ensuring their optimal health and performance.

Additionally, Dr. Moreau's expertise has been recognized internationally, leading to his appointment to the Pan American Sports Organization (PASO) Medical Commission in 2017.

Beyond his professional achievements, Dr. Moreau is renowned for his commitment to advancing patient-centered, evidence-guided clinical care pathways through integrated multidisciplinary healthcare teams. His dedication to education is reflected in over 500 invited lectures delivered worldwide.

Dr. Moreau's contributions to sports medicine have garnered widespread media attention, with features in prestigious publications such as Bloomberg Businessweek, USA Today, TIME, and ESPN, as well as appearances on NPR, NBC, and Kaiser Health News.

Outside of his professional endeavors, Dr. Moreau is an avid outdoors enthusiast and conservationist. He resides in Vancouver, Washington, with his wife, Karen, and continues to inspire excellence in sports medicine and healthcare leadership.
